Bangers and Fireworks

Our annual Bangers & Fireworks event is always popular with our volunteers and Friends of the charity. Despite increasing the number of tickets from last year, they sold out in record time. A whopping 42 of us came together, to enjoy a 2 course meal (with the obligatory sausages) and watch The Lensbury’s fireworks display.

We were fortunate that it was a dry and relatively warm evening, so we could all enjoy the impressive display up on deck. Below deck, there was lots of catching up between guests who hadn’t seen each other for many months. It all created a fantastic atmosphere onboard Venturer.

We hope to see those that couldn’t make it, and indeed those that could, at some of our other events over the next few months…
