Volunteer with the Thames Boat Project

Are you looking for a stimulating new hobby, a way to meet new people, and learn new skills? Maybe you’d like to do something to give back to the community?

We have opportunities for you! Our team of volunteers have been completing a range of activities over the winter months, including boat maintenance, fundraising, and client outreach, but now the focus is shifting. As spring arrives, we’ll be focusing on delivering river education and therapeutic Thames cruises.

It’s important to us that our volunteers develop and maintain their skills; we want to ensure that volunteers and clients have an excellent experience with The River Thames Boat Project. All our volunteers attend training sessions, and the team are focusing on delivering these over the coming weeks.

Now is the perfect time to sign up to join our volunteer team and attend a training session. Just complete our application form here. Curious about volunteering, but not sure it’s the right fit for you? Submit an expression of interest by email to info@thamesboatproject.org and a member of the team will be in touch to discuss our volunteer roles.
