Experienced Marketing and Fundraising Manager needed to boost our work on the Thames.

The River Thames Boat Project is looking for an experienced, highly self-motivated person to help us both increase our client base and attract more funding for our therapeutic leisure cruises and environmental education programmes.

This is a new position which will be of pivotal importance in promoting and assisting our future work and development. We have recently brought into service a second vessel, doubling our capacity and offering exciting growth opportunities. To take us forward to our next stage and help us scale up our current activities, we need a fresh eye and innovative approach to our marketing and fundraising.

You will be joining a small staff of 4 people, supported by about 70 volunteers. We have a clear ambition, great ideas, a dedicated, hard-working team and a loyal client base.

The position will be full-time, on a rolling annual contract and working flexible hours, partly from home, partly from our Richmond office and partly on our boat. Salary, depending on experience and proven performance, is likely to be in the range of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
