Enjoy a June evening cruise, with music in mind …

June will soon be here ….

and gorgeous long summer evenings. What better way to enjoy the month than on a special sunset cruise on Thames Venturer, and the Friends of the River Thames Boat Project has three evening dates on offer open to all to enjoy.

All three cruises have a musical theme as we cruise upriver from the mooring in Kingston to anchor off Hampton Court to listen to the evening open-air concert being performed at the Hampton Court Palace Festival.  Your ticket covers the return cruise from Kingston, a welcome cocktail, all your refreshments for the evening, liquid included, and music in the air …

Cruises on board Thames Venturer offer the advantages and freedoms of a vessel with a large open deck (and plenty of covered space down below) so that you can sit or roam about to enjoy the view. The boat is fully accessible for people with impaired mobility or in wheelchairs, and our crew are all highly trained to make sure you enjoy the best possible evening out on the river.

Booking is open to all. You can book as many tickets as you like, subject to availability, up to the maximum number of 12 passengers allowed on our cruises.

… and support our work

The Friends of RTBP is an organisation run by volunteers to support the charity. All events run by the Friends are ticketed and tickets are in return for a donation to the charity. Friends’ donations all help sponsor cruises for those living with disability or disadvantage.

If you would like to become a Friend and enjoy the same privileges as our volunteers (including special rates for private hire of our vessels), please go to the Friends’ website and download a membership form.

If you would like to find out more about the charity’s work, read about it here. To book a cruise for a charity or therapeutic support group contact info@thamesboatproject.org or phone 020 8940 3509.
