We offer therapeutic cruises and educational activities on the River Thames for people of all ages, including those with a disability or mental health condition.
The charity was established in 1989 and we have shown that enjoying and learning about the river on board our specially adapted and wheelchair-accessible barge, Thames Venturer, is a very special experience. It brings relaxation, health and personal development benefits unique to the river setting – as shown by our many clients who rebook year after year. Our second accessible boat Thames Discoverer is due to arrive in Kingston June/July 2017.
We currently operate from Kingston and travel from Kingston to Weybridge and Windsor or Richmond. We are proud to have a carbon neutral status.
We help our clients plan bespoke cruises and activities specially suited to their group’s particular needs.
