We offer one of the most exciting Outdoor Learning experiences in London: come on board and learn about the river and its story from source to mouth, its history and its future. Learn out in the open air, experiencing the reality of the river’s force and how it’s managed: real-world geography for London kids in ‘School on the River’. If your class is into environment, learn the story of climate change in an afternoon, test the Thames for chemicals and decide for yourself whether Thames Venturer could be any greener.

Learning outside, from direct experience, has been proven to affect children’s well-being and engagement with education. Schools who come on our dedicated geography and science days, as well as on Sustainability days, give great feedback and frequently re-book. We’re proud to be part of Outdoor Classroom day, which inspires more and more schools to take their learning outside every year.
