Twenty-six Year 4, St Peter’s London Dock School children have been on an ‘Eco Venturer’s day’ hosted by Hermitage Community Moorings.

After lunch they weighed their packed lunch waste.  A grand total of 900g: this was made up of 600g of ‘black bag’ non-recyclable waste/food waste and 300g of recyclable waste.  The result was lower than their primary school contemporaries.  They also beat their last year’s target by a fair bit!
