Raising funds continues to be an ongoing activity for RTBP and with the second boat on its way, it is even more important.

You can donate £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 to us whenever you like via JustTextGiving.

Idea:

When you have a mufti day, dress down day, swear box or coffee morning – ask your people to text instead of donating with cash. That way, we could get the gift aid as well!

How to do it

Text to 70070
In the message type RTBP01 followed by £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10.

Within 24 hours you’ll receive confirmation by text to let you know the donation has been successful.

What’s the cost of donating by text?

Every penny of your donation (including Gift Aid) goes to the charity. You may be charged for your text message, please refer to your network operator’s standard rates.

Can I add Gift Aid, my name and a message to a text donation?

Yep, once you’ve sent your text we’ll reply to confirm that we’ve received it. We’ll also include a link to an online form. If you have a smartphone, click on the link to claim Gift Aid and/or leave a message. Alternatively, you can copy the link into a web browser on your PC/laptop or tablet and fill the form in there.

How can I get a refund for a text donation?

As text donations are charged to your mobile phone bill or taken from your pay as you go credit, you’ll need to contact your mobile phone provider directly to arrange a refund.
