A small but strong team of volunteers were on hand last week for the annual lock island clean-up which involved repairs to the access steps to the beach, maintenance of the path, and cutting back vegetation. The team was glad when the tide came in as it gave them the opportunity for a short break ! New volunteers are welcome to sign up for future clean up days !!
